Watching Strokes' video

I have a really bad stomach ache.
I terrible headache.
Taking care of Sulaiman.
Dealing with annoying brothers.
Watching home videos from like 5 or 6 years ago.
Snacking on a million chocolate cookies 'till I explode.
I do wish it was sunny bright.
So I can swim and go outside.
I can't stop watching The Strokes' video " You Only Live Once "
It is very good.
I feel crazy and drunk just watching it.
Drowning in the music and Julian's handsome face.
Oooh, what would it be like to marry a singer???
That would be just a dream.
Or is it?
I wish I was still nine or ten.
Then I could be free and have fun anytime.
Hanging out with all my friends.
But that was long ago.
Now it is only studying, helping out, taking care of siblings, and getting yelled at.
I wish I was a singer or in a band.
Then I could sing in front of everyone.
Getting those expressions of awe and adoreness.
Being free and being with your mates and friends.
The best thing, not being cooped up in a house all day, having to look at annoying people or even dealing with them .
That day will come.
You just have to work hard and reach your goals.
Because if you don't you WILL be a bum on the streets.
Ha, and I will laugh at you.

Four day weekend

Yeah! I had a good four day weekend. On Saturday, I got to go to the library and eat a good lunch. I read most of Sunday and I finished the book Nothing But The Truth (And A Few Lies ) It was VERY good. On Monday, Sulaiman and Papa stayed home. I finished the dishes in the morning and watched Jeepers Creepers 2. The movie wasn't even scary, it was good but the actors irritated me because they talked to much. I then ate soup and noodles for lunch. Yum, except I hated the bean sprouts in it. YUCK! Then my dad took Muhaimin, Sulaiman and me to the library. After that, we went to Costco and bought lots of muffins and chips! Hahah, so good in my mouth. I went to my room and finished the book Midnight Pearls. It was good too, except I didn't like the ending. On Tuesday, July 4th, I ended up having to clean all the toilets. At night, I saw lots of fireworks. In all colors! I saw my neighbor doing them. Then later, I watched the fireworks on tv. They were wicked!! I went to sleep at 1:53 pm because there were too many fireworks going on outside, and my window was open and I couln't close it because it was too hot and stuffy in my room and I didnt have a fan. So ya, I made it to sleep all right.

Baking Cookies!

Today was a nice day. The morning was cool and the afternoon was bright and sunny. I woke up early this morning and took care of Sulaiman since he was staying home with me. I cooked eggs and rice for lunch. At about 12 o'clock, my dad came home and took Muhaimin to the masjid for Friday Prayer. So in the afternoon, I took Sulaiman to swim, and he ended up dumping a whole bucket of toys into the pool! I then took him out, dryed and dressed him. Upstairs, I cooked him cookies to eat. They were delicious! Papa and Muhaimin came home and finished the rest of the cookies. Geez, I only got to eat a LITTLE bit. I had a really bad stomach ache this afternoon. Ha, then my mom came home, and I played soccor, and basketball with my dad and brother. It was only for a short while because Mama called me to help her cook. Ugg. I hate when people call me when I'm having fun. She ended up yelling at me the whole time. Man, I wish I could escape this house.

Sulaiman staying home

Today had a very cool morning. It was less hotter than yesterdays. I woke up early today again and read for a while. Then I went downstairs with my brother, and listened to music. At about half past 11 o'clock, my mom came home and dropped off my little brother, Sulaiman to stay with us. After she left, I cooked rice and fried beef. I then fed Sulaiman and I ate beef, rice and some salad with croutons. Umm. After eating, I went to my room and started reading a new book for my 50 books goal. The book's title is Nothing But The Truth (And A Few White Lies). It is about a girl named Patty Ho, that is sent to a math camp at Stanford during the summer because a fortune teller told her mother that she'll be with a white guy. It is a really great book, and I can't wait to be done with it. Ha, now Im going to go read!
